A version of my own traditional Swallow tattoo. Swallows were origonally sailor tattoos, and to have a swallow meant you had traveled five thousand miles at sea. To have two swallows meant you had traveled ten thousands miles at sea. They also were a sign of coming home, because swallows generally do not fly too far out from land.

i decided to make a tattooed shower curtain for my new apartment and i wanted to paint this on it, i figured i'd of course get your permission before doing so.
